If it is your first time visiting the clinic, if you have a new area of concern or if it has been greater than 4 months since your last appointment with us, please schedule an ASSESSMENT OR INITIAL ASSESSMENT. Please note we do not accept patients seeking treatment for a work related injury (WSIB). If your injury is a result of a motor vehicle accident please contact the clinic directly to book your assessment.

When scheduling FOLLOW UP appointments, please chose the same practitioner with whom you completed the assessment with.

We do review all bookings and may adjust the appointment type based on the information in your file. If any changes are made to your booking, you will receive an email notification. If you would prefer to speak to one of our administrative team please call 519-766-7774 to book during business hours or you can leave us a message and we will get back to you.

CANCELLATION POLICY Please be aware that 24 hours notice is required for cancellation of all appointments, or you may be directly charged for the full amount of your missed appointment.

Wellness screening: We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy place for all who enter our clinic. Prior to each appointment you will receive, via email, an online wellness screening questionnaire. Please complete this questionnaire to help us stay healthy and able to provide care. Masking is optional in the clinic, based on your personal health situation. If you would like your practitioner to wear a mask, please let us know when you arrive .

We are happy to announce that we have added Shockwave to our list of treatments available at Manual Concepts Physiotherapy. There is no extra cost for Shockwave treatment.

Tyler earned his Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Guelph-Humber in 2012. He then went on to complete his Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2014.

Since graduating, Tyler has gone on to complete the Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy program to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT). He has also completed courses in Acupuncture through the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program and Dry Needling through the Integrated Dry Needling Program (CIDN). David Dam is a registered massage therapist who graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Cambridge in 2019. He is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC), and the Massage Therapists Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS).

David has exceeded his college’s clinical requirements and gained diverse hands-on experience working with clients in various settings, including Hospice Wellington, acquired brain injury clinics, and completing a specialized sports massage certification through CCMH. His career has spanned both spa and clinical environments, where he has treated a wide range of clients with varying needs, from injury rehabilitation to general wellness.

David’s approach is client-centered, adapting his techniques to meet each individual’s goals and preferences. His skill set includes deep tissue massage, relaxation techniques, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and passive stretching, among others.

Taylor completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto and has also received certification in the Integrated Dry Needling program. She has a keen interest in treating orthopedic conditions and draws from her previous experience as an ergonomic consultant to provide specific education to optimize treatment programs for her clients.

Her background in Human Kinetics, with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Guelph, combined with her experience as a strength and conditioning coach for varsity teams, has given her a solid foundation in health and fitness. During her time at Guelph, she was actively involved in sports, playing five years of varsity rugby.

Since completing his Masters in Physiotherapy from McMaster University, Stephen has focused his clinical work experience in orthopaedics and manual therapy. While attending McMaster University, Stephen worked as a team therapist for the varsity men’s basketball and football teams. In his final year, Stephen was also accepted for an international student placement, giving him the opportunity to work at an orthopaedic clinic in New Zealand.

Prior to his physiotherapy studies, Stephen completed his Bachelor degree in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario, and has worked as a personal trainer. With a keen interest in orthopedics and manual therapy, Anne completed an Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. In addition, Anne has received certification in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and has completed courses in Mulligan mobilizations, acupuncture and therapeutic taping.

Clinically, Taylor treats a variety of individuals of all ages and fitness levels, ranging from elite athletes to those less familiar with exercise. Laura’s approach to treatment involves working alongside the client in their goals and providing encouragement for activity in enjoyable ways. Laura values providing the necessary knowledge to her clients so they can become more attuned to their body’s movements and rehab. Ben is a graduate of the Human Kinetics program at the University of Guelph, Ben went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. He completed his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University and has been working in and around Guelph since.

Ben has completed his Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. He is trained in Integrated Dry Needling (a certification course created by the staff at Manual Concepts similar to Gunn IMS).

During his time at Guelph, Ben played four years of varsity football and was the team trainer for the varsity soccer team for a year. Scott graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a bachelor of science in Physiotherapy. He received his Diploma of Manipulative Physiotherapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Orthopedic Division and has completed a clinical masters in manipulative therapy from the University of Western Ontario.

Scott started working in Toronto at the high profile sports clinic Physiotherapy on Bay. Aside from treating patients, and consulting on complicated orthopedic problems, he facilitates continuing education and mentorship for the staff at the clinic. He has a special interest in the treatment of orthopedic conditions of the spine, SI joint, hip and shoulder. The bulk of his treatment expertise lies in the use of manual therapy, which includes mobilization and manipulation of the muscles and joints of the body. An adjunct to his treatment includes active exercise programs, core stabilization and is the founder of the Integrated Dry Needling certification course.

Scott is an instructor and Lead examiner for the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association teaching the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy Curriculum of courses across Canada. He also has an academic appointment at the University of Western Ontario, teaching in the Clinical Masters Manipulative Therapy and Advanced Health Care Practitioner program.
